About ‘Hits They Missed’
“Hits They Missed” is a collection of 10 inspirational songs penned by songwriters across the United States. All the tunes were recently submitted to a television songwriting competition, but failed to make the finals.
After hearing some of the contest entries online, executive producer Luanne Hunt and producers Sean Gasaway and John Bass believed many were potential hits. In hoping to bring attention to these wonderful songs, they put the wheels in motion to produce this compilation CD.
A portion of the proceeds from the CD will benefit The Oakland School For The Arts in Oakland, CA. Additionally, it is the intention of the songwriters that their music will inspire, enlighten and motivate everyone to keep striving towards their biggest and brightest dreams.
